Our faculty consists of 30 full-time members among whom there are 13 professors, 15 associate professors and 2 assistant professors. Their research interests and expertise encompass a wide range of subject areas, including information resources management, knowledge management, information storage, information organization, information retrieval, information dissemination, data mining, library science theory, library management, digital library, document bibliography, reading culture, publishing industry, publishing policies, publishing management, government informatization, enterprise informatization, information resource industry, network technology and applications, information analysis, information consultation, information policy and law, etc.
Our faculty members are all well-educated. Most of them are influential academics at home or abroad. They work in several research centers, which allow faculty members to pool resources and talents to create new knowledge. They undertake a series of important research projects. In the last 5 years, they took more than 20 projects entrusted by the Ministry of Education or other national units. And numerous academic achievements were achieved.
